Nala spring

This is a perennial spring but tapers down to a trickle in summer. The water is portable and drinkable. I visited it in the middle of March and found some water flowing down the steep hillside into the Maldunga ravine. Just before reaching Maldunga point there is a narrow forest path on the left. After meandering through thick forest for 8-10 minutes one comes to this Nala. It lies on the western edge of the Matheran plateau.
